Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Heath Ledger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clint Barton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Heath Ledger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Clint Barton!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Donatello Bradman and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ledger changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Barton looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Ledger goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Barton has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Ledger but great work by Barton.
Barton passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Ledger!
Barton swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Ledger is now in Barton's guard. A big mistake from Barton there, giving up the dominant position!
Barton working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ledger doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ledger manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Barton is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ledger defends well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Ledger will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Ledger tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

Ledger is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Ledger is trying to work for a kimura but Barton is defending well.
Barton moves into full guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Barton had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ledger defends it easily.

Ledger decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Barton, up you get!
Barton shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Barton looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ledger displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Barton.
Heath Ledger has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Clint Barton.
Ledger closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Barton quickly recovers to half guard.

Ledger stands up and beckons Barton to his feet.
Barton tries for a takedown but Ledger circles away easily
and Ledger counters with a nice double leg into side control. Barton won't be happy with that.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ledger working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Ledger works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Barton sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Barton tries to roll over but Ledger keeps him under control.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ledger wants to stand up but Barton is controlling the position.
Barton actively working from the bottom here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Heath Ledger will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Ledger closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Barton's guard.
Ledger would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Barton escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ledger gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Barton looking for a sweep. Not yet Barton, not yet.
Ledger wants to control from the top but Barton keeps moving.
Barton has a closed guard, preventing Ledger from standing up.

Barton is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ledger is aware though and is defending well.
Ledger in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Barton looking for a triangle here. Ledger is fighting it but it looks tight! Barton pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Ledger is tapping out - this one is all over!
