Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ben Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blanka Jimmy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Ben Ryan has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryan lands a two punch combo.
Ryan tries to close the distance and clinch but Jimmy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Jimmy shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jimmy was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Ryan defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Jimmy.

Jimmy has control of Ryan's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Ryan regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Ryan keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Jimmy avoids the attempt from Ryan to control.

Ryan is looking to improve his position but Jimmy isn't that keen on the idea.
Jimmy landing strikes from the mount.

Jimmy lands a big shot there that rocks Ryan but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Ryan is rocked!
Jimmy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Jimmy goes for an armbar but Ryan turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Ryan.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jimmy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ryan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Ryan is posturing up here but Jimmy has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Ryan tries to roll out but it's too tight and Ryan has to tap! Slick submission there by Jimmy!
