Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rafhael Angeles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Scully (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scully misses with a low kick.

Angeles looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Scully tries to roll over but Angeles keeps him under control.
Scully is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Scully has one foot on Angeles's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Scully stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Angeles swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Angeles is pulling down on Scully's head. It's preventing any offense from Scully, at least for the moment.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Scully gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Scully is trying to drag Angeles to the mat but Angeles just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Scully drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Scully jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Angeles escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Scully gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close round but I would say that Rafhael Angeles will probably get the nod.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Rafhael Angeles.
