PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kuma Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DeAndre Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Nelson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Sound of Silence. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson misses with a wild combination.

Nelson lands a big head kick that sends Wilson tumbling to the mat! Nelson takes a step backwards and waves Wilson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like DeAndre Wilson has been cut.
Nelson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Wilson. That did some damage!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wilson circles away from the clinch attempt.
A telegraphed right hand from Nelson misses the target.
Wilson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nelson tried to score with a low kick but Wilson checks it.
Nelson throws the kick towards the body but Wilson avoids it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Wilson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
DeAndre Wilson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wilson throws a leg kick but Nelson sees it coming and moves out of range.
Wilson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nelson paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Wilson shoots for a takedown but Nelson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Wilson tries to close the distance and clinch but Nelson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A left lands for Nelson.
Nelson thumps Wilson with a low kick.
Nelson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

That has opened up DeAndre Wilson's cut even more.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nelson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wilson is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Nelson Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Wilson is out cold, face down on the mat!

Kuma Nelson was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
