Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Michael Dube (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Marcel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dube kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Notorious B.I.G. - Big Poppa. Marcel is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by city of angels. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
17 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Michael Dube!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jesse Marcel!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcel checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Dube swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Marcel takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Dube throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A low kick from Dube is predictable there
and Marcel cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Dube misses with a low kick.
Both fighters circling a little - Marcel finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Marcel moves out of range as Dube throws a body kick.
Michael Dube seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dube lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Marcel swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dube falls off balance throwing a combination
and Marcel counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Dube misses with an uppercut
and Marcel makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dube throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Dube jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Marcel walks into a left hand.
Marcel looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Dube!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Dube can't escape the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Marcel looking for a guillotine from mount but Dube is having none of it.
Dube tries to hold on but Marcel postures up.
Marcel postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Dube looks a forlorn figure.
Dube avoids a series of strikes thrown by Marcel.
Marcel tries to control but Dube wriggling away.
Marcel pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Marcel looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dube is trying to stand but he's just given Marcel his back.
Dube prevents Marcel from getting a body triangle.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Marcel has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Dube! Can he survive? No! He's out! Marcel gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jesse Marcel!
