Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joel Sanchez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Buck Bradshaw!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Chad Campbell and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bradshaw throws a hook but Sanchez avoids it easily.
Sanchez is looking to clinch but Bradshaw is avoiding it.
Sanchez looks to score with a jab to the body but Bradshaw is just out of range.
Sanchez slow jab from Bradshaw misses its intended target.
Sanchez throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bradshaw uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sanchez.
Joel Sanchez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bradshaw circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sanchez just misses with a punch to the body.
Sanchez tries to clinch but Bradshaw is having none of it.
Bradshaw bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Sanchez pushes Bradshaw off looking to stand but Bradshaw dives back in and keeps control.
Bradshaw is tying to control. Sanchez wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Sanchez takes a swing at Bradshaw's ribcage but misses.
Sanchez looks to score with a jab to the body but Bradshaw is just out of range.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Bradshaw closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Bradshaw tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bradshaw has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Sanchez wants to get back to his feet but Bradshaw drags him back down.

Sanchez is working to avoid the ground and pound but Bradshaw connects with a decent elbow.
Bradshaw prevents Sanchez from escaping the position.
Bradshaw lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.


Sanchez is rocked!
Bradshaw has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Bradshaw working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Oh Sanchez is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bradshaw cracks Sanchez with a big right hand but Sanchez just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Bradshaw taking a breather here.
Bradshaw creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Bradshaw is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Sanchez is trying to escape and Bradshaw transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Sanchez is forced to tap! Nice work there by Bradshaw! Very nice indeed!
