Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Xillin Daxon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hideo Shiroma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hideo Shiroma has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shiroma throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The fight stays on the outside here - Daxon looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Shiroma punishes Daxon's body with a nice straight punch.
Shiroma misses with a few strikes there.
Shiroma paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Daxon tries to clinch there but Shiroma circles away.

Daxon is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Shiroma is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Daxon is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Shiroma has escaped the position, nice work there.
Daxon creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Shiroma sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Shiroma parries the strikes from Daxon easily there. Daxon is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Shiroma to escape.

Daxon goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Shiroma has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Daxon but great work by Shiroma.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Daxon wants to clinch but Shiroma slips to the side
and Shiroma counters with a left and a right that stings Daxon.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Xillin Daxon will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

and Shiroma makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Shiroma lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Daxon clinches up with Shiroma and pushes him back against the cage.
Daxon drops down looking for an ankle pick but Shiroma pulls his leg out and moves away.

Shiroma jabs Daxon to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Xillin Daxon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Daxon lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Shiroma has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Shiroma and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Shiroma lands a left and a right that send Daxon crashing to the mat, dazed. Shiroma thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Shiroma connects with a right that clearly hurt Daxon. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Shiroma proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Daxon collapses and taps out under the pressure!
