Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dan Bambrough!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hugh Man!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Matheus Silva and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bambrough is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Man.
Bambrough misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Man.
Bambrough keeps the fight on the outside.
Man tries to clinch there but Bambrough circles away.
Hugh Man seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Donk. Bambrough catches Man right on the button with a cross.


It looks like Hugh Man has been cut.
Man tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bambrough paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Man fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bambrough swats away the attempt to clinch by Man.
Bambrough cracks Man with a big right hand and Man goes down!


Man is rocked!
Bambrough controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Man is still in real trouble! Can Bambrough finish him?
Man seems to have recovered his senses.
Bambrough tries to free his leg and advance position but Man is retaining full guard.
Bambrough postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Bambrough decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Man, up you get!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Man tries to clinch up.
Bambrough waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Man. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Man to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bambrough is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Man wants to sweep here but Bambrough controlling him for the moment.
Man looking to control.

Bambrough gets to his feet - Man follows without any prompting.
Man throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bambrough throws an overhand right that lands on Man's shoulder, as Man tries to avoid the shot.
Bambrough drops Man with a big left hand and mounts him. Man is in big trouble!


That has opened up Hugh Man's cut even more.
Bambrough controlling the pace for now.
Man is trying desperately to improve position.
Man really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bambrough. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Man is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bambrough looking to control and managing it successfully.
Bambrough's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Man tries to lock up and control but Bambrough gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bambrough controlling his opponent.
Bambrough in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Bambrough misses with a head shot.
Bambrough controlling his opponent.
Man working to try and regain half guard.

Bambrough sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Man really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Man tries to hold on but Bambrough pushes him away.
Bambrough controlling the position easily from mount.

Bambrough wants to finish this one by submission but Man is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Bambrough.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Bambrough goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Man turns into him and now he's in Bambrough's guard.
Man has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bambrough is proving hard to escape from.
Man trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Man looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Bambrough scrambles and gets back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dan Bambrough dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Hugh Man's cut.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Man tries to clinch up.
Man is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Man tries for a takedown but Bambrough sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Bambrough keeps the fight on the outside.
Bambrough swats away the attempt to clinch by Man.
Man gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Bambrough.
Man is looking to clinch but Bambrough is avoiding it.
Bambrough circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bambrough could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Bambrough fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bambrough lands a nice hook to Man's body. Man takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Man tries to clinch but Bambrough is having none of it.
Man tries to clinch but Bambrough moves out of range.
Bambrough throws a jab but it's blocked by Man.
Bambrough swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Man counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Man shoots in looking for a takedown. Bambrough tries to sprawl out of it but Man keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bambrough manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bambrough misses with a hook. Man ducked under it nicely.

Man rushes Bambrough and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Bambrough breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A punch combination from Bambrough misses.

Man is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Dan Bambrough is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Man tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bambrough avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A big right from Bambrough misses.
Man throws a left and a right that both miss
and Bambrough counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Nice straight punches there by Bambrough. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Bambrough.


The cut above Hugh Man's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Dan Bambrough is winning the standup battle so far.
Bambrough throws a hook but Man avoids it easily.
Dan Bambrough is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Man looks to clinch

and Bambrough counters with a beautiful punch that sends Man to the canvas!
Bambrough controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Bambrough stops Man from standing up.

Bambrough stands and steps away. Man gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Bambrough is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Man throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Bambrough counters with a left and a right that hurts Man! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Bambrough jumps into full mount!
Man is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Man tries to hold on but Bambrough pushes him away.
Bambrough lands a big elbow.


Hugh Man's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Hugh Man's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Dan Bambrough!
