Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Octavio Davino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luis Felipe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davino comes to the cage accompanied by Despicable Me by Pharrell Williams. Luis Felipe will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Luis Felipe!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Felipe misses with a takedown attempt
and Davino counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Davino works over Felipe's head and body with a nice combination.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Felipe crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Davino - the referee stops the clock and Felipe gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Davino. Felipe manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Felipe avoids the body shot from Davino.
Felipe shoots in looking for a takedown but Davino manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Felipe's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Nice takedown defense from Davino. No joy for Felipe on that attempt.
Octavio Davino has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luis Felipe.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
