The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Illya Tyunina and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Polhamus uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Hero keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Some wild striking there from Polhamus.
Polhamus tries to close the distance and clinch but Hero swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Hero misses the jab.
Polhamus's jab looks to have found its range, popping Hero under the eye.
Hero misses with a hook. Polhamus ducked under it nicely.
Hero throws a poor cross that misses
and Polhamus connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hero keeps the fight on the outside.
Polhamus wants to clinch but Hero slips to the side
and Hero counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Polhamus pushes Hero off looking to stand but Hero dives back in and keeps control.
Polhamus looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Hero lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
It looks like Dean Polhamus has been cut.

Nice strikes from Hero there.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Dean Polhamus's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Dean Polhamus's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
