Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Sosuke Kotani and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Niwa fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Domee darts in trying to clinch
and Niwa counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Domee slips a jab from Niwa.
Domee tries to clinch but Niwa is having none of it.
Domee lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Niwa scores with a sloppy right hand. Domee should have avoided that one.
Domee walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Niwa moves into range and connects with a jab.
Niwa thows a body shot but no joy.

Niwa closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Domee's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Niwa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Domee swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Domee preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Niwa throws a strike but Domee rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Domee would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Domee missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Niwa wants to sweep here but Domee controlling him for the moment.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Niwa is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Domee frees his head nicely. Oh but Niwa has switched to an armbar! Domee is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
