The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trombone wants to slow Rompevsky down by chopping away at his legs.
Trombone avoids the head kick by Rompevsky.
Trombone lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rompevsky circles away quickly and effectively.
Trombone lands with an overhand left.
A slow jab from Rompevsky misses its intended target.
Trombone misses with a hook. Rompevsky ducked under it nicely.
Rompevsky looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Trombone takes a swing at Rompevsky's ribcage but misses.

and Trombone counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Trombone is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Rompevsky is just riding it out for now. Trombone eventually gives up the hold.

Rompevsky is looking to get to half guard.
Trombone lands a big shot there that rocks Rompevsky but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Rompevsky is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Trombone lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Rompevsky is looking to improve his position but Trombone isn't that keen on the idea.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Trombone! Rompevsky is hurt baaadly! Trombone is firing away with more strikes - Rompevsky is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
