PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Endicott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sydney Polak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Polak comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Path of Glory kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jason Endicott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sydney Polak!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Endicott changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Polak tries to avoid it but Endicott manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Polak to the ground. Polak escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Polak takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Endicott tries to close the distance and clinch but Polak swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Polak takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Polak misses with a takedown attempt - Endicott sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Polak throws a nice looking combination but Endicott bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Endicott shoots in but no luck this time.
Sydney Polak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Polak fails to land with a series of punches.
Endicott shoots in but Polak avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Endicott. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Polak throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Endicott moves into range and clinches up with Polak.
Polak has Endicott pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Endicott manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Endicott drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Polak dives on top into guard.

Endicott manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Endicott won't let Polak get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Jason Endicott has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Endicott shoots in and drives through. Polak sprawls well.
Endicott shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Polak pinned against the cage. Polak gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Polak lands with a nice combination. Endicott backs away looking to recover.
Endicott looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Polak throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Polak defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Endicott.

Endicott dodges the punch combination from Polak.
Endicott tries to score a power double leg takedown but Polak sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Endicott somewhat.

Polak manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Horrible takedown by Endicott or perhaps it was just good defense by Polak which made him look bad.
Polak will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Well Polak has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
