Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alexey Durandin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mamoru Takamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takamura bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Sloppy strikes from Takamura. Those never looked like landing.
Takamura's corner calls for a 1-2. Takamura obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Takamura swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Durandin doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Takamura counters with a lovely straight right hand!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Takamura throws a leg kick but Durandin sees it coming and checks it nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Takamura throws a series of strikes that have Durandin backpedaling.
Takamura dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Takamura throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Takamura lands with a straight right. Durandin didn't see that one coming.

Takamura scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Durandin misses with a takedown attempt
and Takamura counters with a stiff right hand.
A punch lands to the side of Durandin 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Durandin shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexey Durandin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Durandin on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

No joy there for Takamura, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Durandin has his takedown stuffed
enabling Takamura to counter with a crisp jab.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Takamura keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Durandin gets a takedown into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Durandin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Takamura keeps working.

Takamura kicks off Durandin and gets to his feet.
Durandin fails with a takedown attempt.
Durandin misses with a takedown attempt - Takamura sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Durandin shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Takamura counters with a nice uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mamoru Takamura dominated that round.
That's time! Durandin's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Takamura lands a big head kick that sends Durandin tumbling to the mat! Takamura takes a step backwards and waves Durandin back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Durandin is rocked!
Takamura connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Durandin out cold! This one is over in a flash!

Mamoru Takamura tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
