The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minutsak takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
The fighters circle momentarily. Mccaughan darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Mccaughan throws a quick inside leg kick.
Mccaughan lands a glancing blow to the side of Minutsak's head.
Mccaughan jabs at Minutsak's body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Minutsak tries a head kick but it misses.
Mccaughan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Minutsak misses with a looping left.
Eric Mccaughan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mccaughan lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Minutsak at a distance.
Mccaughan closes the distance and clinches up with Minutsak, looking for a takedown. Mccaughan pushes Minutsak against the cage but Minutsak circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Minutsak gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Mccaughan shoots in and drives through. Minutsak sprawls well.
Mccaughan fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Minutsak looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Mccaughan lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mccaughan pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Minutsak back to the cage. Mccaughan follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Mccaughan misses with a series of wild punches.
Mccaughan works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Minutsak throws a head kick that misses.
A left and a right from Mccaughan both land. Nice combination.

Minutsak is rocked!
Minutsak tries a low kick but Mccaughan avoids it.
Minutsak is still on wobbly legs! Can Mccaughan finish him?
Mccaughan thuds his shin into the meat of Minutsak's side.
Minutsak looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mccaughan darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Minutsak's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Mccaughan before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
