Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tong Po (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Waqas Malik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Po might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Frank Zappa - Muffin Man. Malik is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Final Countdown. Waqas Malik is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Po would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Malik has his foot on Po's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Po works his way back into a safe position though.

Malik has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Po can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Malik gets tackled into the cage by Po. Po maintains the clinch.
Po pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Po escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Malik has Po up against the cage in a clinch.
Po manages to break the clinch.
Po has managed to clinch.
Malik tries to pull guard but Po won't allow it.

Po comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
It looks like Waqas Malik has been cut.

Tong Po has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Waqas Malik.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Malik jumps guard but Po stands there with Malik around his waist. Malik gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Po clinches up with Malik and pushes him back against the cage.
Clinched against the cage, Po lands a big elbow that drops Malik! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Malik is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tong Po!
A relieved looking Tong Po thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
