Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jon James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimble Cho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kimble Cho!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James missing with a left hand there. Cho was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Cho throws a hook to the side of James's head but James sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
James misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cho catches James with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Cho lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Cho throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Cho misses with a few strikes there.
A punch combination from Cho misses.
James lands with a nice combination. Cho backs away looking to recover.
James pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Cho back to the cage. James follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Cho pivots, looking for a leg kick but James is out of range and Cho settles back down.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

James wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Cho has him pressed against the cage.
Cho swings wildly with an uppercut but James uses good head movement to avoid it.

Cho lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

James throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Cho on the side of the head.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Cho is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
James looks to land a combination but Cho avoids it well.
Cho feints and then cracks James's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow James down.

and Cho counters with a stiff right hand.
Cho ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Good leg kick by Cho there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
James lands a really nice looking cross but Cho seems unphased.
James works the jab nicely.
James is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Kimble Cho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cho fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and James has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Cho in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Kimble Cho comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Cho has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
