Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
23 - 28 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Skinny Boy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
28 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Drew Pinksy!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Mauricio Rocha and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Pinksy connects with a good right hand that stumbles Boy. Boy circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Boy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pinksy tries to avoid it but Boy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pinksy to the ground. Pinksy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Boy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Boy shoots in looking for a takedown. Pinksy tries to sprawl out of it but Boy keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pinksy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Skinny Boy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pinksy misses with an attempted mid kick.
Boy shoots in for a double leg but Pinksy sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Boy shoots and misses
and Pinksy counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Pinksy leaves Boy with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Boy shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Boy is breathing heavily.
Pinksy connects with a body shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pinksy fakes the leg kick and cracks Boy in the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pinksy scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like Skinny Boy has been cut.
Pinksy lands with a cross.
Boy takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Drew Pinksy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pinksy throws out a powerful jab.
Pinksy fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Boy looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Boy. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
You can follow us on Twitter at...Ooooooh Boy got wobbled bad by a big combination! Pinksy presses forward with punches and knees until Boy stumbles to the ground! The ref watches Boy closely before deciding to step in and end the fight!
