Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
19 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Bo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
18 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cameron St James!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bo takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
St James turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
St James throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bo scores with a crisp jab that stopped St James in his tracks.
St James throws a body kick that misses.
St James thows a body shot but no joy.
Bo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but St James was well out of range. Poor timing from Bo.
Bo shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bo was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
St James can't escape the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
St James is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
St James sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
St James wants to control but Bo is keeping busy.
Bo is looking to stall here but St James recovers full guard.
St James throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Bo wants to control from the top but St James keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
St James working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
St James has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Bo should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, St James has tightened it up now! Bo should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
