Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Doblez Mundo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eddie Jones has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Doblez Mundo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eddie Jones!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Mundo misses with a head kick.
Jones shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mundo sprawls well. Mundo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jones gets slowly back to his feet.
Mundo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jones.
Jones checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Jones scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Mundo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Jones is looking for a kimura but Mundo is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Jones to get the leverage.

Jones is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Mundo sees it coming and defends easily.

Jones is working for a submission of some sort.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are battling for position here. Mundo manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Jones is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Mundo is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Mundo has escaped and now he's on top!
Mundo is in close to Jones's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Mundo tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard.

Jones had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mundo defends it easily.

Jones working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mundo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mundo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Jones takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Jones is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Mundo is controlling him well.

Jones is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Mundo off and has taken his back!

Mundo is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mundo tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mundo to the ground. Mundo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Jones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mundo manages to avoid it.
Mundo looks to land a combination but Jones avoids it well.

Jones scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Mundo is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jones pulls his head out easily.

Jones seems to be working for a kimura but Mundo defends the submission attempt.

Jones stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Mundo to get to his feet.
Jones misses with a wild combination.

Jones looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Mundo!
Jones mounts Mundo! Really nice guard pass there!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jones gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
A slow jab from Mundo misses its intended target.
Jones pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Mundo back to the cage. Jones follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Mundo throws a series of punches but Jones avoids them all with ease.
Mundo throws a head kick but Jones moves out of range.
Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Jones counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Mundo gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jones is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Jones has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Mundo defend it? Jones steps over the head and cranks it - Mundo is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Jones!
