PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mickey OLeary (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manny Pacman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pacman has chosen Awsome as his entrance music. OLeary has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Manny Pacman told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pacman gets cracked with a nice right hand there by OLeary.

Pacman closes the distance and clinches.
OLeary gets underhooks to prevent Pacman's takedown attempt.
Pacman tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. OLeary just stands there and leans against the cage.
OLeary has had enough of the clinch but Pacman keeps him there for the moment.

Pacman has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics OLeary uses from the top position.

Pacman has his foot on OLeary's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. OLeary works his way back into a safe position though.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Mickey OLeary.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mickey OLeary will probably get the nod.

OLeary stalks Pacman and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Pacman's face. Pacman staggers backwards, shaken.
Pacman takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
OLeary looks to land a combination. Pacman sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Pacman has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

I would just about give that final round to Manny Pacman.
I think Pacman has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
