The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamsa defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Baine.
Baine closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hamsa circles away.
Hamsa ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Baine moves away.

Baine shoots in and bounces Hamsa off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Baine stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hamsa swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
