Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergiou Figu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Kukushkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kukushkin has chosen Kukushka as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sergiou Figu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alex Kukushkin!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kukushkin misses with a few strikes there.
Kukushkin checks a leg kick.
Figu needs to keep his hands up - Kukushkin had a free shot at his head there.
Kukushkin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nice takedown defense from Kukushkin. No joy for Figu on that attempt.
Kukushkin throws a series of punches but Figu moves out of range.
Kukushkin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Oooooh!!! Kukushkin has knocked Figu down with a huge combo! Kukushkin steps away and waves a wobbly Figu back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Sergiou Figu has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kukushkin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Figu moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Figu steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kukushkin.
Kukushkin pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Kukushkin throws an off balance right hand
and Figu counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Figu ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Figu drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Figu throws a low kick, looking for Kukushkin's leg but Kukushkin calmly moves out of range.
Kukushkin moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Kukushkin feints a jab promting Figu to slip. Kukushkin then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Figu slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Kukushkin lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Figu goes down and covers up as Kukushkin starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alex Kukushkin!
