Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kharitonov lands with a good body shot.
Kharitonov throws the left hand but Firnanda Talha avoids the punch easily.
Kharitonov dodges the punch combination from Firnanda Talha.
Firnanda Talha feints and as Kharitonov raises his hands in defense, Firnanda Talha changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kharitonov holds on and takes a little breather.

Kharitonov tries to close the distance and clinch but Firnanda Talha swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kharitonov looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Firnanda Talha looks up at the clock and then as Kharitonov takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Firnanda Talha smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Firnanda Talha throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kharitonov tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Firnanda Talha is in Kharitonov's guard.
