Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wood shoots in for a takedown but Fauatea shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Fauatea misses with a double jab.
Fauatea fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wood closes the distance and clinches.
Fauatea managing to block the knees to the body from Wood.
Wood tries to land knees in the clinch but Fauatea avoids the damage to the body.
Wood swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Wood is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Fauatea is defending well for now.
Wood tries to pull guard but Fauatea won't allow it.
Wood throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Wood looking to throw knees to the head but Fauatea is blocking nicely.
Wood is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Fauatea wants to get back to striking at distance but Wood won't allow it.
The referee is keeping an eye on Wood - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Wood is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ramsey Wood. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wood drags the fight down to the ground.

Fauatea wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Wood's closed guard. He's half up but Wood has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Wood pivots and extends the arm, Fauatea falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Wood! Well done that man!
