Brooks kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Nothing Else Matters. Derson has chosen For Whom The Bell Tolls as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Eli Brooks has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Derson turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Derson swings widly with a right hand
and Brooks counters with a left to the body.
Derson lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Derson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Derson wants it to stay on the feet.
Both fighters circling a little - Derson finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Derson throws a head kick that half lands.

It looks like Eli Brooks has been cut.
Brooks is breathing heavily.

Brooks takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Derson connects with a leg kick. Brooks looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Brooks walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Eli Brooks's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Good leg kick by Derson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Derson throws a head kick but Brooks moves out of range.
Ansilva Derson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brooks takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Brooks avoids the head kick by Derson.

Derson cracks Brooks with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Brooks looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Derson finish him?
Oh Brooks is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
