Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Osmolovsky shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Kongo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Osmolovsky defends it easily.
Kongo controls Osmolovsky momentarily but Osmolovsky frees himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Osmolovsky seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Osmolovsky wants to pass the guard but Kongo is keeping the position.

Kongo wants to stand and escape but Osmolovsky is having none of it.
Osmolovsky has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Alexander Osmolovsky wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Osmolovsky throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Osmolovsky swats away the attempt to clinch by Kongo.

and Osmolovsky counters with a shoot takedown. Kongo fights it but they end up in guard.
Osmolovsky is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Osmolovsky is working Kongo over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Kongo is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Osmolovsky gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Kongo wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Osmolovsky throws a knee to the head but misses.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Kongo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Osmolovsky paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kongo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Osmolovsky pinned against the cage. Osmolovsky gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kongo checks a low kick from Osmolovsky.
Osmolovsky throws a nice looking combination but Kongo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Osmolovsky shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Osmolovsky is controlling the pace.
Osmolovsky drops an elbow to the side of Kongo's head.

Kongo wants to control but Osmolovsky is keeping busy.
Alexander Osmolovsky overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Kongo is breathing heavily.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Kongo circles away from the clinch attempt.

and Osmolovsky counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Osmolovsky thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Osmolovsky slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Osmolovsky loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Osmolovsky wants to pass the guard but Kongo is keeping the position.
Kongo is looking to sinch up a triangle. Osmolovsky throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Kongo's body to avoid the submission. Kongo has instead reached around Osmolovsky's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Kongo arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
