Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rufus Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evandro Rolifild (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lee might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kick out the Jams by The MC5s. Rolifild comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Damned If I Do Ya (Damned If I Don't) kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Evandro Rolifild told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Lee throws a jab when Rolifild was well out of range.

Rolifild shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lee but Lee pushes him off and we're back to square one.

A frustrated look appears on Lee's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Lee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Lee throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Rolifild blocks a low kick nicely.
Rolifild takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Rolifild fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lee looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Lee ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rolifild moves away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lee's corner calls for a 1-2. Lee obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

A left and a right from Lee both land. Nice combination.
Rolifild is still on wobbly legs! Can Lee finish him?

Rolifild glances at the clock... BAM! Lee nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Rolifild crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Rolifild is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
