The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leuk shoots for a double leg takedown but Pigmentosa sprawls well. He's pushed Leuk's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Leuk drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Pigmentosa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Pigmentosa knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Leuk on the ground.

Leuk drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Pigmentosa dives on top into guard.

Leuk throws his legs up looking for a submission but Pigmentosa uses it to pass to side control.

Leuk swings around for an armbar but Pigmentosa sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Leuk's guard.

Leuk had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Pigmentosa defends it easily.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Pigmentosa is sitting in close to Leuk's body. Leuk has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Pigmentosa is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Pigmentosa is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Leuk.
