Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okami throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Okami tries to bum rush Yoshihira with a series of wild strikes but Yoshihira uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Yoshihira tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Okami shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Yoshihira but Yoshihira pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Yoshihira tries to score a power double leg takedown but Okami sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Yoshihira somewhat.

Okami darts in and clinches Yoshihira up against the cage.
Okami tries to pull guard but Yoshihira won't allow it.
Yoshihira is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Okami gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Yoshihira pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Yoshihira lands a nice knee to the body.
Yoshihira jumps guard but Okami stands there with Yoshihira around his waist. Yoshihira gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Hiroshi Okami has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kenji Yoshihira.

Yoshihira is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
