Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nikolai Kovalenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kovalenko kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Небо славян!. Lee has chosen I Am Perfection by Cage 9 as his entrance music. Ricky Lee told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kovalenko misses with an uppercut.

Lee lands a glancing blow to the side of Kovalenko's head.

Lee unloads with some shots from mount but Kovalenko bucks and avoids them well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kovalenko is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Lee tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
