The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Triton throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Stefansson counters with a big head kick but Triton shrugs it off.
Triton tries to clinch up but Stefansson circles away and keeps his distance.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Triton checks a leg kick.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Stefansson wants a takedown but no success here.
Stefansson connects with a nasty looking knee right to Triton's face.
Triton misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Stefansson throws an elbow that misses.
Triton slowing the pace effectively.
Stefansson lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Triton is rocked!
It looks like Jack Triton has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stefansson has Triton pressed against the cage. He pushes Triton back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Stefansson throws a beautiful elbow that sends Triton crashing to the floor! Stefansson piles on the pressure with more strikes! Triton is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
