The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hummel looks to clinch
and Squaretree cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Squaretree misses with a hook. Hummel ducked under it nicely.

Squaretree gets tackled into the cage by Hummel. Hummel maintains the clinch.

Hummel manages to pull guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Hummel scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Hummel shoots for a double leg takedown but Squaretree sprawls well. He's pushed Hummel's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hummel.
Squaretree blocks the body kick.

Colin Squaretree has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adolf Hummel.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hummel ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Squaretree throws a shot from downtown. Hummel moves away and avoids it.

Hummel closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
