The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foote shoots in but Grown avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A jab from Grown does it's job there.

It looks like Clint Foote has been cut.
Grown throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Some wild striking there from Grown.
Grown tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Grown takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Foote throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Some bone on bone action there as Foote checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Foote is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Grown.
Grown is looking to chop away at Foote's legs.
Foote misses with a wild body shot.
Foote looks to score with a jab to the body but Grown is just out of range.
Grown scores with a decent looking hook.

That has opened up Clint Foote's cut even more.
Grown throws a sloppy head kick and Foote moves out of range easily.

Grown scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Foote throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Grown sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Foote has Grown up against the cage in a clinch.

Grown throws a knee to the head but misses.

Foote tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Foote manages to break the clinch.
Foote swats away the attempt to clinch by Grown.
Foote takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Grown throws the kick towards the body but Foote avoids it.
Nice defenses there by Foote.
Grown lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

The cut above Clint Foote's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Foote takes a swing at Grown's ribcage but misses.

Foote misses with a wild body shot.
Foote drops his hands momentarily and Grown takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Grown delivers a nice body kick.
Foote looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Foote rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Grown moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Grown rushes Foote with punches - Foote moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Foote goes down! Grown follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
