The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miles scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Jimi Viidakko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Miles cracks the inside of Viidakko's front leg.
Viidakko shoots in but no luck this time.
Nice takedown defense from Miles. No joy for Viidakko on that attempt.
Miles lands with a hook. Viidakko tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Viidakko closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Viidakko lands in his opponent's guard.
Viidakko is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Viidakko throws a big right hand that misses.

Viidakko is keen to just control but Miles is a slippery customer.
Miles has hold of Viidakko's hands but Viidakko slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Viidakko seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Viidakko is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Miles sees it coming and defends easily.
Viidakko thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Miles's head.
Miles is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Viidakko missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Viidakko has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Miles has hold of Viidakko's hands but Viidakko slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Viidakko lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Miles quite badly. Miles pulls Viidakko in close trying to recover. Viidakko postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Miles on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Miles doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
