Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alister Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Jameson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jameson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Requiem for a dream. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jameson pinned against the cage. Jameson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Knight looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Jameson!
Knight throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Knight misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Knight is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Jameson has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Jameson!
Jameson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Knight looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Jameson puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Knight has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Jameson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Knight could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Knight is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Knight manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Knight moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Jameson has worked his arm free - good work by Jameson!
Jameson sneaks out the side door and pushes Knight away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Knight.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alister Knight. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jameson works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

It looks like Alister Knight has been cut.
Jameson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Oh Knight is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jameson throws a right hand that Knight ducks under and follows up with a left that Knight also avoids with ease.
Jameson drops Knight with a straight right hand, right on the button! Jameson follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
