The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Martin scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Kelly manages to work his way to half guard, despite Martin 's best efforts.
Kelly wants to control but Martin is keeping busy.
Martin working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Martin is pressing down on Kelly's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kelly is holding on for now.

Kelly is refusing to be controlled, as Martin sits in half guard.

Kelly is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Martin 's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Martin 's back!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kelly thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Martin to regain full guard.

Kelly thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Martin 's head.
Martin wants to get back to full guard.
Kelly looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Kelly is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Kelly is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.

Martin manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kelly is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Kelly regains half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Martin seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

It looks like Jesse Kelly has been cut.
Kelly is trying to maintain the position but Martin is very close to passing his half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Martin throws a poor cross that misses
letting Kelly counter with a right hand.

Kelly gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Martin .

Kelly dives in and scores a takedown into Martin 's guard.
Martin wants to sweep here but Kelly controlling him for the moment.

Kelly drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Martin manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kelly has Martin in his guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Martin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Martin chips away with some ground and pound.

Kelly escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Martin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Martin postures up and lands a big shot to Kelly's brow.
Martin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kelly swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kelly is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Kelly looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Kelly keeping moving, preventing Martin from controlling successfully.
Martin trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

That has opened up Jesse Kelly's cut even more.

Kelly is looking for a triangle here but Martin uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Martin connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Kelly some visible discomfort.

The cut above Jesse Kelly's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Martin tries to move to mount but Kelly blocks the move with his legs.
Martin throws an elbow but Kelly slips to the side and avoids it well.
Kelly is looking for a sweep.
Kelly can't do much from the bottom here.

The ground and pound from Martin seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
You can see the frustration on Kelly's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Kelly is working to avoid the ground and pound but Martin connects with a decent elbow.

Jesse Kelly's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jesse Kelly's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
