The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Brzenszczykiewicz as Gunderson shoots in.

and Brzenszczykiewicz counters with a big head kick but Gunderson shrugs it off.

Gunderson shoots in looking for a takedown but Brzenszczykiewicz manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gunderson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Gunderson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Gunderson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Brzenszczykiewicz doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gunderson.

Gunderson stalling away here and it's allowed Brzenszczykiewicz to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Gunderson drops back looking for a leg! Brzenszczykiewicz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Brzenszczykiewicz manages to kick Gunderson off! Gunderson jumps back into Brzenszczykiewicz's guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Gunderson won't allow Brzenszczykiewicz to get back to his feet.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Brzenszczykiewicz can do anything to dispel that myth.

Gunderson shoots for a double leg takedown but Brzenszczykiewicz sprawls well. He's pushed Gunderson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Gunderson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gunderson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Brzenszczykiewicz is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Gunderson lets go of the hold and Brzenszczykiewicz can pop his arm back in it's socket.
