Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roe Jogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Miracle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miracle has chosen Motörhead - See Me Burning as his entrance music. Michael Miracle acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roe Jogan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Miracle!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miracle shoots in but no luck this time.
Nice sprawl there from Jogan as Miracle shoots in.
Jogan shoots and misses

and Miracle counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Still in half guard, Miracle seems content to control.
Jogan wants to get back to full guard.
Jogan is trying to maintain the position but Miracle is very close to passing his half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Miracle tries to pass to full mount but Jogan defends it.
Jogan is looking for a sweep. Miracle is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Jogan wants to get back to his feet.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Jogan fails with the takedown

and Miracle counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Jogan is trying to maintain the position but Miracle is very close to passing his half guard.
Jogan moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Miracle won't allow Jogan to get back to his feet.
Jogan is breathing heavily.
Jogan keeping moving, preventing Miracle from controlling successfully.
Miracle wants to pass the guard but Jogan is keeping the position.
Jogan could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Jogan utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Jogan throws a sloppy head kick and Miracle moves out of range easily.

Miracle decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Jogan tries to roll over but Miracle keeps him under control.

Jogan looking for submissions off his back.
Jogan moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Jogan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Jogan had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Miracle is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Jogan Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Miracle's back instead.
Miracle is really stuck here.

Miracle breaks Jogan's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Miracle stands up and waves to Jogan to follow him.

Miracle rushes Jogan and presses him up against the cage.

Jogan tries to pull guard but Miracle won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roe Jogan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Miracle controlling the action here for a moment.
Jogan missing with knees to the body.

Miracle jumps guard.
Miracle lands a decent shot there.
Miracle striking off his back but it's not causing Jogan any problems.
Miracle looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jogan is one step ahead there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Miracle is on top in guard.

Michael Miracle dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Miracle throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jogan sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Jogan fails with the takedown

and Miracle counters with a single leg into guard. Jogan didn't expect that.

Jogan working for a triangle but Miracle defends it easily.
Miracle postures up.

Jogan throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Miracle escapes and throws Jogan's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Jogan sneaks back into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Well, if Miracle is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Jogan gets back to full guard.
Miracle postures up.

Jogan is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Miracle stands and steps away. Jogan gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jogan with a poor takedown

and Miracle decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jogan's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Jogan wants to control the position but Miracle says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Michael Miracle has got the better of the ground game so far.
Miracle lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Miracle decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Miracle darts in and clinches Jogan up against the cage.
Jogan wants to break the clinch but can't.
Jogan goes for a takedown attempt but Miracle pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roe Jogan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Miracle misses with a wild combination.
Jogan fails with the takedown

and Miracle counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Miracle lying in Jogan's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Jogan decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Miracle taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
