The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Allon enables Reed to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Allon manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Allon is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Reed defends it well.

Allon uses his free foot to push down on Reed's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Reed.
