The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel digs a good body shot into Valuyskiy's ribs.
Steel lands with a good body shot.
Steel misses with a series of wild punches.

Steel moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Steel.

Valuyskiy takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Steel fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Valuyskiy on the side of the head.

It looks like Aleksandr Valuyskiy has been cut.

Valuyskiy gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Steel to score an easy takedown into full guard.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Valuyskiy keeping moving, preventing Steel from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chuck Steel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Steel throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Valuyskiy crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
