The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sol.

Sol tries to clinch but Stark is having none of it.
Stark misses with a few strikes there.
Sol misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for YB Sol. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stark stuffs the takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sol scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Stark tries to buck Sol off but Sol is having none of it.

Sol goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Stark has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Sol but great work by Stark.
Sol is looking to regain half guard here but Stark keeps moving and retains side control.

Sol flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Stark looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sol with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Sol is pressing down on Stark's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Sol will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Sol looking to hit a scissor sweep but Stark is one step ahead there.
Stark working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Sol working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stark doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stark manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Stark wants to control from the top but Sol keeps moving.

Sol is trying to keep Stark in close.
Sol looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Stark with a flurry of punches that miss.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sol utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Stark is sitting in close to Sol's body. Sol has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Stark is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Stark is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Sol.
