Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Pendragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mari Huana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Huana has chosen Candyshop as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mari Huana!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Taro Takaoka and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huana tries to close the distance and clinch but Pendragon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Huana breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Pendragon is trying hard to land a takedown here. Huana sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Pendragon walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

It looks like Mike Pendragon has been cut.
Pendragon fails to land with a series of punches.
Huana just misses with a punch to the body.
Pendragon misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Huana scores with a punch to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Huana tries to clinch but Pendragon is having none of it.
Pendragon throws a series of punches but Huana avoids them all with ease.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pendragon.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Pendragon. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Huana lands a big head kick that sends Pendragon tumbling to the mat! Huana takes a step backwards and waves Pendragon back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Pendragon is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Huana moves into the clinch.
Oh Pendragon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Huana drops Pendragon with a big knee straight up the middle! Pendragon is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Pendragon tries to keep at a distance but Huana has taken the fight into the clinch.
Pendragon has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Huana is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Huana gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Pendragon.
Pendragon avoids a wild elbow strike from Huana.

Pendragon wants a takedown.
Huana's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Pendragon has Huana pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Huana manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Huana throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Pendragon blocks it with crossed arms.
Huana tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Pendragon looks to throw the jab but Huana is out of range.

Huana lands a nice looking body shot.
Huana lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Huana gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Huana lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Pendragon takes an elbow to the temple.

Mike Pendragon's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mike Pendragon's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
