The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Boy. No joy for Georgesten on that attempt.

Georgesten shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Boy is trying to defend but Georgesten finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The fighters are battling for position here. Boy manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Georgesten accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Boy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Georgesten throws a strike but Boy rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Georgesten is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Boy dives into side control.

Boy decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Georgesten fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Boy throws a right hand that Georgesten ducks under and follows up with a left that Georgesten also avoids with ease.
Boy lands with a good body shot.
A right-left combo lands from Boy.

It looks like Mark Georgesten has been cut.
Georgesten takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Boy moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Georgesten is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Boy finds Georgesten's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Georgesten flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Boy lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Georgesten will be OK.
