Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bov Xer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trevor Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xer with a lazy takedown attempt
and Barnes counters with a takedown into side control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Barnes is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Xer has escaped the position, nice work there.
Xer on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
The ground and pound from Barnes seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Barnes connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Xer some visible discomfort.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Barnes has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Barnes scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Xer to see if he's OK.
Barnes wants to lay and pray for a moment but Xer keeps working.

Xer takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Xer managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Barnes.
Barnes creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Xer sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Barnes has isolated one of Xer's arms. Xer looking to fight him off but Barnes twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
