Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Geese Howard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Trester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ben Trester will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Geese Howard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ben Trester!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howard misses with a head kick.
Howard tries to clinch up.
Trester throws a right and a left that Howard avoids nicely.
Trester misses with a looping right.
Trester throws a hook but Howard avoids it easily.
Trester tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Trester connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Howard's hands.
Trester takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Howard fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Trester is out of range.

Howard moves forwards but Trester connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Trester is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Howard.

Howard rushes Trester and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Trester breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Howard takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Howard takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Howard forces Trester back against the cage and clinches.

Howard gets control of Trester's arms and successfully pulls guard. Howard will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Trester throws a big elbow that misses.

Howard working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Trester doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Trester manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Trester stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Howard swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Howard had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Trester defends it easily.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Trester accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Trester is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Geese Howard is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Trester feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Howards jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Trester swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Trester drops down looking for an ankle pick but Howard pulls his leg out and moves away.
Geese Howard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ben Trester.
Trester lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Howard tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Trester throws a nice looking combination but Howard bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Trester digs a good body shot into Howard's ribs.
Howard misses the jab.
Howard takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Trester lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Trester lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Howard circles away quickly and effectively.
Howard takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Trester, right into the meat.
Howard takes one to the chin there.
Howard throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Trester sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Trester ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Howard's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Trester connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Howard scrambles back to his feet.
Trester is looking to land body kicks.
Ben Trester is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Howard is rocked!
Trester drops Howard with a huge uppercut! Howard drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Trester is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Ben Trester spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
