PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Beastman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Riddler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beastman's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Cryptopsy - Crown of Horns. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ben Riddler!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Summer Carpenter and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Riddler darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

It looks like The Beastman has been cut.

Beastman closes the distance and clinches.
Riddler letting Beastman take a breather here.
Riddler is trying to break the clinch but Beastman is controlling him.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Riddler landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Riddler looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Beastman is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Riddler wants to get back to striking at distance but Beastman won't allow it.

Beastman gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.

Riddler wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Beastman has him pressed against the cage.
Beastman stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Beastman pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A punch lands to the side of Beastman 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Beastman takes a jab right on the kisser.
Beastman takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Beastman tries to bum rush Riddler with a series of wild strikes but Riddler uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Beastman is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Beastman walks forward, straight into a front kick from Riddler.
Riddler dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Beastman. That did some damage!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Riddler fails with an attempt to clinch.
Riddler lands with a hook. Beastman tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Beastman takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Beastman is rocked!

Riddler waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Beastman. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Beastman to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Oh Beastman is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

The Beastman's cut is getting worse.
Riddler wants to get up but he can't break Beastman's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Beastman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Riddler stands up from Beastman's guard - Riddler perhaps looking for a knockout.
Riddler cracks Beastman with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Riddler lands a big head kick that sends Beastman to the canvas! Riddler follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
