Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fat Pat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lou Bricant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Fat Pat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Lou Bricant!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Richard Clark and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bricant tries to clinch up.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bricant.
Pat looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Pat will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Pat stuffs the takedown attempt from Bricant. Bricant gets slowly back to his feet.
Pat rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bricant moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bricant tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pat swivels and escapes.
Fat Pat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lou Bricant.
Pat throws a combination that misses
and Bricant counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Bricant has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bricant drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Pat gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Pat tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Bricant's elbow.

Bricant tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pat paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Pat swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Bricant closes the distance and pushes Pat back into the cage.
Bricant wants a takedown but no success here.
Pat has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Pat is trying to break the clinch but Bricant has him pressed against the cage.

Bricant manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Pat lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bricant circles away quickly and effectively.
Pat throws a right and a left that both miss.

Bricant closes the distance and clinches.

Bricant jumps guard and drags Pat to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Pat knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bricant on the ground.
Bricant looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pat is one step ahead there.
Bricant bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Pat's guard.
Bricant controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Bricant is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Bricant stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Bricant tries to close the distance and clinch but Pat swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Pat throws a right hand that Bricant ducks under and follows up with a left that Bricant also avoids with ease.
Pat falls off balance throwing a combination
and Bricant counters with a nice body kick.
Bricant listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Bricant throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.


It looks like Fat Pat has been cut.
Bricant looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Bricant throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Pat.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sloppy strikes from Pat. Those never looked like landing.
Bricant swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bricant will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

and Bricant counters with a head kick. That will keep Pat thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Pat tries to keep at a distance but Bricant has taken the fight into the clinch.

Bricant jumps into guard, dragging Pat to the mat.
Bricant is trying to control the position but Pat postures up.
Bricant keeping moving, preventing Pat from controlling successfully.
Pat lands a couple of digs.

Bricant is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Bricant works his way into side control.
Bricant gets to mount! Pat was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Bricant has control of Pat's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Pat regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Bricant throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Pat because Bricant loaded up on that one.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lou Bricant showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Horrible takedown by Bricant or perhaps it was just good defense by Pat which made him look bad.

Bricant bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Pat's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bricant wants to control from the top but Pat keeps moving.
Bricant is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Pat got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bricant has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pat has managed to get both his arms back between Bricant's legs - danger averted.

Bricant throws a looping overhand right but Pat ducks down to avoid it.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bricant shoots in but Pat avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Bricant tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pat sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bricant somewhat.
Lou Bricant is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Lou Bricant comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Bricant has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
