The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crim lands with a right hand.
Gerous ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Crim tries to clinch but Gerous moves out of range.
Gerous connects with a nice looking jab.
Gerous doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Gerous moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Gerous misses with a takedown attempt
and Crim counters with a takedown into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Crim is looking to take a break and control but Gerous is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Gerous tries to improve position but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Crim thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gerous's head.

Crim is nestled in close to Gerous, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Crim wants to take a breather but Gerous is having none of it.
Gerous is pressing down on Crim's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Crim wants to control from the top but Gerous keeps moving.
Gerous throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Crim works over Gerous with some ground and pound from guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Gerous escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Crim gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rudell Crim dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Gerous misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Crim thows a left - swing and a miss!

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Crim takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Gerous blocks an uppercut.
Crim lands a shot to the body.
Crim works on Gerous's body with a couple of short punches.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Crim lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Gerous backwards.
Gerous's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Crim goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Crim lands with a right to the head.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Crim.
Crim lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Crim pushes Gerous back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Crim lands a hook that snaps the head of Gerous backwards.
Crim lands a left hand.
Gerous is rocked!
Gerous tries to score a body lock takedown but Crim shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Oh Gerous is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Crim lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Gerous or not.
Crim working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
A nice left hand lands by Crim.
Crim lands with a left to the head.
Crim unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Gerous! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Crim is unloading with more strikes now! Gerous drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rudell Crim!
