Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ben Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raive Manuel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raive Manuel struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.7lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manuel throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Foster.
Foster takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Foster's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Foster duly obliges.
It looks like Raive Manuel has been cut.
Foster drops Manuel with a beautiful combination! Manuel stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Foster is looking for the KO!
Manuel is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Manuel shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Foster eats them both and turns towards Manuel to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Manuel is still on wobbly legs! Can Foster finish him?
It looks like Ben Foster has been cut.
Foster connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Manuel to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Foster!
